Cumberland River Paddlefest 2016

600_224328832We’re really excited to be joining our friends at Paddle Adventures Unlimited for their annual Cumberland River Paddlefest. This event has become the unofficial kickoff to the paddling season, with free demos for SUP and SUP yoga, kayak fishing, gear and more. And, this is Nashville, so, of course there is live music to keep you entertained. We love the good vibe at this event. It gets us stoked for the season.

The event is held at Old Hickory Park, where the Cumberland River meets Old Hickory Lake. (If you joined us in 2013 and 2014, this is where we were then. This is a different location than 2015.) The park is on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers property, so there are no sales of gear, food or anything else. It is all FREE and fun! We’ll have hard boards and inflatables, plus ukuleles and other surprises.

Come see us:
Saturday, April 30, 2016, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Want to get in the mood? Check out this Wild Side TV YouTube video from a past Paddlefest.

PLEASE NOTE: This event has been cancelled due to weather. Join us at 11:00AM for this alternate inside option:

Jerry Vandiver’s Paddle Songs at The Rudder at Anchor High Marina
Back deck reserved for Paddlefest. Music at noon.
