Join Hala Gear’s Jack Nelson in Nashville
Hala Gear team rider Jack Nelson is headed back to Music City for a gear demo and pro clinic.
Join Nashville Paddle Co. on Sunday, June 4:
1 p.m. Free demo day at Nashville Paddle Co. where you can try a bunch of different Hala Gear boards, including the new carbon race boards, the Asana yoga board, and some fun whitewater boards.
4 p.m. Head to the Stones River where Jack and Katy Clarke will lead a river paddle (NOTE: There is a possibility of the Stones River being closed for a few weeks the end of May and early June. If this happens, we’ll pick another nearby location and will update this post).
While the Stones doesn’t have whitewater (the picture here is of Jack on an actual whitewater river), it has current, so Jack can teach some of his river-running best practices. Afterwards we’ll head to Homegrown Taproom & Marketplace for dinner/adult beverages.
You do not need to register in advance for the board demo, but you do need to book a space for the river paddle.
While we love paddlers of all ability levels, this is not an event for first-time paddlers. You must have prior paddling experience (flatwater is fine), such as our Intro class, to join us at this clinic.
