We loved dressing up for last week’s Cumberland River Dragon Boat Festival so much we’ve put our next costume paddle on the schedule. It’s our annual Halloween Kayak and SUP Costume Paddle on Saturday, Oct. 29, 10 a.m. This year, we’re offering it in conjunction with our friends at Cumberland Kayak Urban Adventure and River Queen Voyages. That means we can have more people and more fun. Don’t be surprised if we add a few new treats this year!
We’ll put in and take out across the river from downtown at East Bank Landing (this is where Nissan Stadium is). BYOB kayak or paddleboard or book a SUP rental from us or a kayak rental from Cumberland Kayak or River Queen Voyages and we’ll bring you your gear. Rentals are $29, regardless of from whom you rent, board or SUP.
Don’t forget your costume. We’ll have prizes for the best look (and some extra hats and costumes for those who need some dressing up help).
We ask that you have have previous paddling experience to participate in the Halloween paddle (we’ll be on the river, and the water might be chilly). Happy Halloween, Nashville Paddlers!
